Freter-Razes, the largest pharmaceutical company in Algeria, founded in 1992, has expanded its logistics capacity hand in hand with CICOP, betting on our metal structures.

To do this, CICOP built in Birk-Hadem (Algeria), a town located 10 km from the center of Algiers, capital of Algeria, a building for use as a logistics warehouse and offices.

Its structure is four stories high, plus a 1,250m2 basement on the ground floor, 765,000kg of metal structure and some 5,200m2 of façade panel.

The construction of the warehouse began on 05/25/2015 and its completion occurred on 11/24/2015, the construction process lasting approximately six months.

This warehouse has been developed to make it easier for Frater-Razes to manage and optimize its logistics area in order to supply and distribute its products, constituting a substantial improvement for this important pharmaceutical company established in Algeria. The main objective of Frater-Razes is to guarantee the continuous supply of the materials and production measures required to ensure the proper functioning of its services.

This project, made from metal structures, suitable according to internal and external quality controls, and whose total height is 34 meters, is part of an expansion plan carried out by Frater-Razes in Algeria.

CICOP has built eight of these buildings in the last two years, where we can highlight the 1,700 m2 manufacturing laboratories for liquid forms, the 650 m2 medicine warehouse, and the 2,500 m2 laboratory building.

Frater-Razes has relied on CICOP’s 50 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and assembly of metal structures, roofs, and facades, to carry out logistics development, which will undoubtedly position it as a logistics benchmark in Algeria.
